Welcome to Geethanjali School of Music, an online music school based in Chennai, India. By enrolling in our programs, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility

Students must be at least 5 years of age or older.
Have access to a stable internet connection and a device capable of running video conferencing software.
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

2. Course Enrolment & Payment

All courses must be paid for in advance unless otherwise stated.
Fees once paid are non-refundable, except in cases of course cancellation by us.
We reserve the right to revise course fees or payment terms at any time. However, enrolled students will not be affected by fee changes mid-course.

3. Class Schedule & Attendance

Class schedules will be communicated at the time of enrolment.
Students are expected to be punctual and attend all scheduled classes.
Cancellations made before 24 hours in advance are eligible for a makeup session.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class will be considered late and forfeited.
Teachers will wait up to 20 minutes in Zoom; late arrivals will receive only the remaining session time.
We reserve the right to reschedule classes in case of public holidays or unavoidable technical issues.

4. Use of Technology

Classes will be conducted via Zoom.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure proper setup of their device, internet, and software.
Recording of classes is not permitted without prior written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials, including videos, sheet music, and recordings, are the intellectual property of Geethanjali School of Music.
Students may not copy, share, or distribute these materials for commercial use.

6. Code of Conduct

Respectful behavior is expected from all students and guardians.
Harassment, abuse, or disruption of classes will lead to termination of access without refund.

7. Privacy Policy

We collect personal data solely for administrative and educational purposes.
We do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law.

8. Testimonials and Recordings

We may occasionally record classes for training and quality purposes.
By enrolling, you consent to the use of your image or audio for promotional materials unless opted out in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for technical issues, interruptions, or loss of data during online sessions.
We are not responsible for injuries or damages sustained during practice or performance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction to the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
